I fell in love with jewellery making more than 15 years ago. And luckily, the love was not one-sided.

My jewellery could be seen at more than 30 Czech and international exhibitions and wedding fairs, including the prestigious Munich Schmuck and Designblok.

In my work you will find inspiration from nature and the cycle of life. You will feel the fragility, softness, sentiment and transience of the moment in them.

I studied Industrial Jewellery in Turnov, goldsmith and jeweller. I finished my studies with the field of Atelier S+M+L_XL – metal and jewellery at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. For four years I worked in the jewelry studio Zorya.

Since 2017, I have only been working on my jewelry brand Hana Polívková. I have a showroom in SmetanaQ in the center of Prague and a workshop at home in Jílové u Prahy.

"Hana Polívková's jewellery is inspired by nature from its very core. She sometimes uses pure natural materials in her original jewellery, where she prefers the creative concept of the original idea to comfortable wearing.

The "Twisted" design collection is inspired by nature - seeds, flowers, buds, needles, wood or the structure of sown fields. This collection also includes wedding rings, made of thin hair of twisted wire.

These jewels, which have a fragile, delicate and vividly irregular character, have already found many wearers. The author also used simple morphology in the "Rinrin" collection, which subtly accentuates the basic geometry and uses knots on the wire to create interesting structures that evoke memories of the past.

For her gold and silver jewellery, Hana Polívková prioritises their belonging with the wearer over the perfection of the design. That is why her works are particularly characterized by subtlety, irregularity and a pleasant haptic."

I would like my customers to be able to look back at the life they have lived through their jewellery.

In the locket, the mother will remember the days when she raised her children and took care of them with love. Spouses will see in their wedding rings for a long time the moment when they said yes in front of the whole world.

In the reflections of her friend's earrings, the grandmother remembers the time they spent together inseparable. The grandfather shows the grandchildren the chain he received at Holy Communion and tells them more about the times that are long gone now.

When a woman looks at a ring bought for joy, she will always be reminded that she is confident and happy in the world
